Kyotographie – Atsushi Fukushima est lauréat du PRIX KG+ 2019

KG+ 2019 started from April 12th, and this year’s KG+ AWARD grand-prix results were announced. The KG+ AWARD 2019 grand-prix event winner was the entry of “Box Lunch is Ready” by Atsushi Fukushima, who works as a delivery man in a company delivering lunch boxes to senior citizens. By bringing his camera into this occupational setting he explores themes surrounding an aging society, along with matters of life and death. His exhibition is open until May 12th in the former Junpu Elementary School.

Atsushi Fukushima will be invited to display his works in next year’s KYOTOGRAPHIE Main Program. He was awarded ¥500,000 toward production costs by Grand Marble, and photographic equipment worth ¥100,000 from the Sigma Corporation.
